Choose how you work

The right workflow feels like the way you think.

Start with the sentence you want to keep, the scene you want to arrange, or the change you want to describe. Both products include AI tools. The useful difference is how you direct the work—and how easily you can refine the draft.

An interview where every word matters

Compare how you select an answer and restore its context. Keep the question, qualification and complete thought where the meaning depends on them.

Try the workflow on your terms

Bring the same recording. Make one real revision.

Use footage you can upload to both editors. Keep the intended length and output consistent. Inspect the opening, cut boundaries, captions and visual arrangement, then attempt one targeted correction. This is a reader evaluation—not a benchmark we ran.

An illustrative Cubix request

Cubix vs Descript: your questions.

Yes. Cubix offers Ask Cubix; Descript offers Underlord alongside its transcript and scene tools. Both workflows require you to inspect changes and review the finished video.

Descript’s Correct mode fixes transcript text without altering the underlying audio or video. Deleting script content and using speech-generation features are different actions. Check which mode you are using before making a change.

Automatic Descript project transfer is not a supported Cubix workflow. Start with source recordings or an exported video file that Cubix can import. An exported video does not preserve the original project’s separate tracks and edit history.

Check current pricing for AI usage, storage, export resolution and billing terms. Confirm that your chosen plan includes the features you need. A higher export resolution cannot recover detail missing from the source recording.

Start with your recording. Finish it your way.

Choose a focused editing task, inspect the draft, and refine the details that make the recording yours.
