Generate candidate clips in Social Clips; review source boundaries
Upload your recorded webinar to Social Clips in the Cubix AI video editor. Choose Auto, 15–30 seconds or 30–60 seconds as a target length; those controls are targets, not a promise of exact duration. Review the generated candidates and open a selected clip in the full editor for more timeline controls. These are candidate requests to adapt to your recording, not a tested recipe or a guarantee of a particular result. Replace every bracketed placeholder with a real preference, name, source quotation or visible step. Copy a request, open Cubix, add your footage and paste it into the editor conversation. Review the result before keeping it.
Choose a complete explanation with the relevant question and slide context
Choose one complete explanation. Listen to the start and ending, check the relevant question, and identify any slide or demonstration that the viewer needs to see. Keep useful context even when it makes the clip longer.
Four requests: keep an idea, retain a demo step, tighten waiting, fix one cut
Use the four copyable requests on this page for a complete idea, waiting around a demonstration, a missing demo step and one rushed cut. Apply one revision at a time and review the affected section with sound.
- Keep an idea: Isolate a single core thesis and its supporting explanation.
- Retain a demo step: Protect critical UI interactions or slide transitions from automated trimming.
- Tighten waiting: Remove long pauses during screen sharing setup without cutting active voiceovers.
- Fix one cut: Adjust clip start/end boundaries to prevent truncating introductory or concluding words.
Asks to trim unnecessary waiting while retaining the action. Inspect the action and narration after the edit.
Check whether missing context is inside the project before requesting it
A Social Clips candidate may omit the preceding question or part of a screen demonstration. Check which source range is available in the selected clip. If it lacks the needed material, return to the original recording, select a wider passage and edit that version. A prompt cannot restore audio or frames that are absent from the project.
Check the original recording before extending context. The full source is not guaranteed to be available inside an opened candidate clip.
Review screen readability, qualifications, captions and framing
Before publishing webinar highlight clips, conduct a final review across screen and audio elements.
- Read slide text and UI labels at the intended viewing size.
- Keep qualifications and the question needed to understand the answer.
- Check caption names, terminology and timing against the recording.
- Inspect the actual crop; keep the screen action visible even if that means choosing a different frame.
✖ Cutting directly to the answer without keeping the audience question that gives it meaning.
Why it fails: Viewers lack context for why the presenter is explaining a specific technical feature.
✔ Better approach: Return to the original recording if the selected clip lacks the question, then select a passage that includes it.
✖ Requesting recovery of missing audio or slides that were not present in the original recording project.
Why it fails: Natural language editing tools operate on existing project assets, not generative synthetic reconstruction.
✔ Better approach: Confirm the required source footage is present before requesting a boundary change.
✖ Over-trimming pauses during live product screen demonstrations, making UI steps hard to follow.
Why it fails: Rapid jump cuts during software demonstrations disorient viewers following complex workflows.
✔ Better approach: Instruct prompts to tighten waiting while maintaining visible cursor actions and explanation pace.
