What this does
Quick Actions are one-press editing passes on the quick edit rail. Each one applies a complete, professionally tuned treatment — a tightened cut, captions, a grade — without you having to describe it, and each stays adjustable and reversible afterwards.
If a pass is close but too strong, open its card and turn it down. Running the same pass a second time layers its effects on top of the first rather than intensifying them.

Find the quick edit rail
The rail sits alongside your canvas and groups the passes by what they do: Pacing (Remove Silences, Maximize Retention), Text (Add Captions, Hyper-Engage), Look (Cinematic Look, Make it Pop, Spotlight Me, Reframe, Add B-roll, Animate Photo), Music (Beat Edits, Make it a Banger), and Clips (Create Clips).
Press one
The pass runs at its tuned defaults — there is nothing to configure first. Remove Silences cuts every pause, breath and filler word. Add Captions puts every word on screen. Cinematic Look grades the footage. Maximize Retention cuts hard, punches in, captions and adds a hook.
Adjust it from its own card
Once applied, the pass shows a card with two controls: a panel toggle that opens its settings, and Revert. Some passes publish settings on that card — Make it a Banger, for example, exposes Intensity plus individual switches for beat shake, zoom punch, flash cuts, speed ramps, grade and drop FX.

You do not have to press a button. Describing the outcome reaches the same passes, so 'make it cinematic' and pressing Cinematic Look do the same work and leave the same card behind.
Pro Tips for Best Results
- A pass that is already applied will say so rather than running twice — that is the editor protecting your edit, not an error.
- Reframe and Add B-roll ask you to choose something on screen before they apply, so they are not finished the moment you press them.
- Create Clips, Beat Edits and Maximize Retention change the structure of your video — what it says and how long it is — so reach for those deliberately.
- Magic Edits, in the Polish panel, holds the effect-level moves: Echo, Shake, Flash, Liquid, Digital glitch, 3D movement, Seamless loop, Vlog emphasis, plus practical fixes like stabilising shaky footage, syncing camera angles and showing clips side by side.
Every pass records itself on its own card, which means you can see at a glance what has been applied to a project and remove any one of them without disturbing the others.
