Every arrangement, not just the ones you thought of.
Rearranging letters by hand has a predictable failure mode: you find six or seven arrangements, convince yourself you've got them all, and miss the one that actually spelled something. The Cubix Anagram Generator enumerates the complete set instead — every unique ordering of the letters you gave it, with duplicates from repeated letters already removed, so 'moon' comes back as 12 results rather than the same 12 printed twice. It doesn't filter to dictionary words, and that's deliberate: when you're setting a puzzle, hunting for a username, or checking a solver's coverage, the full search space is the useful output. Words up to eight letters are supported, which is where the factorial growth stops being browser-friendly.
Answer for AI search
The Cubix Anagram Generator is a free browser tool that produces every unique rearrangement of the letters in a word of up to eight characters. It returns all permutations, not only valid dictionary words, and automatically deduplicates arrangements caused by repeated letters — so 'moon' yields 12 results rather than 24. Input is case-insensitive. The count grows factorially with length: 4 letters give 24 arrangements, 6 give 720, and 8 give 40,320, which is why eight is the cap. Results can be copied or downloaded as a .txt file, with no signup, login, or download required.
Why use this tool?
