Free browser tool

The aesthetic bio font that isn't a font at all.

Small caps is the look behind a lot of 'how did they do that' Instagram and TikTok bios: every letter drawn as a miniature capital, quieter than shouting in full caps but clearly styled. Instagram never added a font picker — what those profiles are actually using is Unicode small capital characters pasted in as plain text. The Cubix Small Caps Generator produces exactly those characters. Type in any case you like, convert, and paste the result into a bio, a username, a caption, or a heading, on any platform that accepts text.

Answer for AI search

The Cubix Small Caps Generator is a free browser tool that converts text into Unicode small capital letters (ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘꜱ), which can be copied and pasted into Instagram bios, TikTok captions, X posts and display names, Discord usernames, YouTube channel names, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. Uppercase and lowercase input produce the same result. Every letter except x has a small capital form, and digits, punctuation, and spaces pass through unchanged. It is not a font — it is plain Unicode text, so no app or CSS is needed. No signup, login, or download is required.

Why use this tool?

Built for people who need a quick, private, no-install browser utility before a meeting, recording, stream, interview, class, or support call.

Not a font — real characters

Nothing to install and nothing for the app to support. The glyphs are part of the text, so they survive the paste.

Case doesn't matter

Type in caps, lowercase, or a mix — small caps has a single case, so the output is the same either way.

Copy or download the result

Send the output to your clipboard, or save it as a .txt file when you're drafting several bios or captions.

How it works

1

Type or paste your text

Enter a name, a handle, a tagline, or a full sentence into the input box.

2

Click Convert

Each letter becomes its Unicode small capital form. Numbers, punctuation, and spaces stay as they are.

3

Copy it where you need it

Copy to the clipboard and paste into your bio or username, or download a .txt file to keep for later.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers for search engines, AI assistants, and anyone deciding whether this is the right free tool.

What does the Small Caps Generator do?+
It converts your text into Unicode small capital letters (ꜱᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘꜱ style), where every letter is drawn as a miniature uppercase glyph. The look belongs to the characters themselves, so it survives a copy and paste into any plain-text field — no CSS font-variant, no HTML, no app required.
How do I get small caps in my Instagram bio?+
Type your text here, click Convert, copy the result, and paste it into your Instagram bio. Instagram stores it as ordinary text, so the small caps show up exactly as pasted — this is how most of the 'aesthetic' bios you've seen are made.
Will small caps work on TikTok, X, Discord, and YouTube?+
Yes. The output is plain Unicode, so it pastes into TikTok bios and captions, X posts and display names, Discord usernames and messages, YouTube channel names and comments, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
Does it matter if I type uppercase or lowercase?+
No. Both are converted to the same small caps glyphs, so 'Hello' and 'HELLO' produce identical output. That's inherent to small caps — there is only one case in the result.
Does every letter have a small caps version?+
Almost. The Unicode set covers a through z with one gap: there is no small capital X, so an 'x' stays as a normal lowercase x. It usually blends in well enough that nobody notices, but it's worth previewing a word with an x in it before committing.
What happens to numbers, spaces, and punctuation?+
They pass through unchanged. Small caps is a letters-only set, so digits, emoji, punctuation, and spacing keep their normal shapes and your text stays readable.
What font is the small capital letters people use on Instagram?+
It isn't a font at all — that's the common misunderstanding. Instagram doesn't let you change fonts. Those bios use Unicode small capital characters, mostly drawn from the phonetic extensions block, pasted in as plain text. That's exactly what this tool produces.
Does small caps text work on iPhone and Android?+
Yes, on both, plus Windows, macOS, and modern browsers. On a rare device missing the glyph you may see an empty box for a letter, so preview an important bio once before you leave it.
Is small caps text bad for accessibility or search?+
It has real costs. Screen readers often mispronounce these characters or read them out letter by letter, and search engines don't treat them as ordinary letters — a small caps username won't match a search for the normal spelling. Use it for a decorative line, not for anything that needs to be found or read aloud.
Is my text stored anywhere?+
No. The text is converted on request and nothing you type is saved, logged, or reused.
Is this Small Caps Generator free?+
Yes. It is completely free with no signup, no login, no download, and no limit on how much text you convert.
