Your media is never overwritten. Edits are stored as timeline instructions and rendering only happens when you export, which is what makes it safe to try an aggressive pass and step back from it.

Edit by describing the outcome
Instead of slicing waveforms and dragging keyframes, you say what the finished video should be — 'remove the silences', 'make this vertical for TikTok', 'cut the part where I lose my train of thought'. Cubix works out which operations produce that and runs them in a sensible order.
A full editor underneath
This is not a wrapper around a few presets. There is a complete multi-track timeline with live playback, keyframed zoom and speed curves, colour grading, transitions, text and titles, stickers and shapes, backgrounds, volume curves, markers and chapter cues — all of it editable by hand.
One-press passes for the common work
The quick edit rail carries tuned passes for the things almost every video needs: Remove Silences, Add Captions, Reframe, Cinematic Look, Maximize Retention, Make it Pop, Spotlight Me, Hyper-Engage, Beat Edits, Add B-roll, Animate Photo and Create Clips. Each applies at its defaults, keeps its own settings card and can be reverted on its own.
Generate what you did not record
Cubix can pull stock footage and images from a built-in library, generate images and short clips to illustrate a point, write background music to a description, create sound effects, and produce spoken voiceover from text — all landing on the same timeline as your own footage.
You stay in control
Every edit lands as ordinary clips, keyframes and overlays you can adjust. You can ask for a rough cut, trim three clips by hand, then hand the captions back to the agent. Mixing the two costs nothing.
Pro Tips for Best Results
- Describe the result rather than the tool. 'Put the B-roll over me while I explain pricing' is a better instruction than anything about tracks and layers.
- Group two or three related edits per request, review, then continue — everything in one reply undoes together.
