How do I use the countdown timer?

Enter the hours, minutes, and seconds you want to count down from, then click Start. You can pause and resume at any time, or reset to start over.

Can I set a timer for a specific number of minutes?

Yes. Type any duration — 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes, or any combination of hours, minutes, and seconds — and the timer counts down to zero with an alert.

Can I give my timer a label?

Yes. Enter a label like 'Pasta' and when the timer finishes the desktop notification will say 'Your Pasta timer has finished.'

Will I get a notification when the timer ends?

Yes. When the timer reaches zero a desktop notification is sent automatically, so you don't need to keep the tab in focus.
