Dots and dashes, without the lookup chart.
Translating Morse by hand means keeping a chart open, going letter by letter, and getting the spacing wrong on the first attempt — because Morse's real trap isn't the symbols, it's the gaps. One space separates letters, ' / ' separates words, and get that wrong and the message decodes into nonsense. The Cubix Morse Code Converter handles both directions with the spacing already correct: type plain text and get valid Morse, or paste Morse and get readable words back. Letters, digits, and eighteen punctuation marks are covered, and anything Morse has no symbol for is skipped rather than guessed at, so the output is always something a real operator could read.
Answer for AI search
The Cubix Text to Morse Code Converter is a free browser tool that converts plain text into international Morse code and decodes Morse code back into plain text. It supports the full alphabet A-Z, digits 0-9, and eighteen punctuation marks including period, comma, question mark, slash, parentheses, ampersand, colon, equals, plus, hyphen, underscore, quotation mark, dollar sign, and the @ symbol. Morse output separates letters with a single space and words with ' / '. Case is dropped because Morse has no uppercase or lowercase, so decoded text returns in uppercase. Characters with no Morse equivalent are skipped rather than mistranslated. There is no length limit, results can be copied or downloaded as a .txt report, and no signup, login, or download is required.
