How to check caption placement
- Choose a screenshot, still or cover image. For the closest match, use a screenshot of your own posting preview.
- Pick a guide. Read its source and check date, then adjust the margins with Custom guide if your preview differs.
- Type a sample caption and move or resize the caption box and the important-content outline by dragging, with the keyboard, or with the number fields.
- Review the overlap result, then download the annotated PNG. It shows the same image, guide and boxes with a source/date label below the frame.
The overlap is geometry between the boxes you place and the selected guide. Nothing in your image is detected, and the result is not platform approval. Interfaces change with placement, captions, buttons and device, so check your actual platform preview before publishing. Your original image is never modified, and no video is exported.
The preview runs in your browser. When you download, your image and layout are sent to Cubix's server to draw the PNG; they are used to create the download, and this tool does not save a project. Reloading the page clears your work.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the caption safe-zone preview do?
It places adjustable guide margins over your own 9:16 screenshot, still or cover image. You position a sample caption box and an important-content outline, and the tool reports how much of each box overlaps the selected guide. You can download the composition as an annotated PNG.
Are the TikTok, Reels and Shorts guides official?
No. TikTok and Google publish safe-zone templates as downloadable images rather than numeric margins, and no public Meta reference with numeric Reels margins was verified. Each preset is a labeled Cubix starting estimate with its source and check date. Switch to Custom guide to match your own posting preview.
Does it detect captions or faces in my image?
No. Nothing in the image is analyzed. The overlap result is simple geometry between the boxes you place and the selected guide. Captions, faces and buttons already in your image are not recognized.
Which images are supported?
PNG or JPG up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels. The image is shown on a 1080×1920 reference stage. Choose Fit with padding to keep the whole image, or Fill and crop edges. The exported PNG is 1080 px wide with a label strip below the frame.
Is my image uploaded?
The preview runs in your browser. When you download, your image and layout are sent to Cubix's server only to draw the PNG. They are used to create the download; this tool does not save a project. The overlap check sends only box positions, not your image.
Is this a guarantee my post is safe?
No. Platform interfaces vary with placement, captions, buttons, device and time. Use the PNG as a planning reference and check your actual platform preview before publishing.
