Trial credits do not reset during the trial, but they are separate from your plan allowance. When you convert to paid you start fresh with the full 500 or 1,200 monthly credits, so anything you spent while trialling costs you nothing later.

What AI credits are for
Credits cover the AI work in your project — transcription, silence and filler detection, caption generation, reframing, clip discovery, generated media and agent requests. Ordinary manual editing does not spend them: trimming, splitting, reordering, moving clips, adjusting volume and restyling captions you already have are all free.
How credits renew
AI credits reset at the start of every billing month. Unused credits do not roll over, so there is no benefit to hoarding them — a month you do not use is a month you do not get back.
Creator vs Pro
Creator is $19/month with 500 AI credits per billing month, 10 GB of cloud storage and 1080p watermark-free exports. Pro is $39/month with 1,200 AI credits, 50 GB of storage and 4K watermark-free exports. Everything else is identical — both plans include the complete editor, the Ask Cubix agent, all AI editing features, AI workflows, manual editing, Quick Edits, captions and watermark-free exports.
How storage is counted
Storage is a total concurrent limit on what you are keeping in the cloud, not a monthly allowance. Deleting projects and unused uploads frees the space back up immediately, so a 10 GB plan does not mean 10 GB per month — it means 10 GB at rest.
The free trial
The trial runs 7 days with 100 AI credits total, 5 GB of storage and no watermark. A card is required, and there is one trial per eligible customer. Your trial carries the same feature access as the plan you picked, so a Creator trial exports 1080p and a Pro trial exports 4K.
Checking your balance
Your remaining credits and storage are visible in your account settings under billing, alongside your renewal date.
Pro Tips for Best Results
- Pick the plan by storage and export resolution, not by credits. Most creators hit the storage ceiling before the credit ceiling.
- If you only need 4K occasionally, remember the export cap follows the plan you are on at the time of export, not the plan you were on when you edited.
- Clear finished projects out of cloud storage once you have downloaded the final file — the source footage is usually the largest thing you are keeping.
- Manual edits are free, so refining a result by hand instead of re-requesting it also conserves credits.
- Re-running a pass costs the same as running it, so adjusting an applied pass from its card instead of asking again saves credits as well as producing a better result.
