Renders your timeline — every cut, caption, zoom, grade and audio track — into a single finished video file you can upload anywhere.
Exports are watermark-free on every plan, including during the free trial. Your plan only affects the maximum resolution: 1080p on Creator, 4K on Pro.
How to do it

Finish the edit first
Export is a render, not a preview. Watch the video back on the timeline and make your corrections there, because every export costs you time you would rather spend editing.

Click Export
The Export button sits in the top right of the editor header. Cubix will never export on its own — finishing an edit does not trigger a render, so nothing leaves the editor until you ask for it.
Choose your resolution
Resolution follows your canvas, reported as 4K, 1440p, 1080p, 720p or 480p. Your plan sets the ceiling: Creator exports up to 1080p and Pro up to 4K. Exporting at a lower resolution than your source renders faster and produces a smaller file, which is often the right call for social.

Watch it render
The export moves through four stages — Preparing, Loading, Processing and Finalizing — with a progress bar. Processing is the longest of the four, and long or high-resolution timelines naturally spend more time there.

Name the file and download
Before downloading you can rename the output — it defaults to your project name. Cubix strips any characters that are not valid in a filename, so you can type naturally and it will come out clean.
Pro Tips for Best Results
- MP4 is the right choice for essentially every destination — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and client delivery all take it directly.
- You can also export just the audio as a WAV, which is useful for podcast versions of a video you have already cut.
- Name your project properly before exporting and the filename comes out right without you having to type it again.
- If you are delivering the same video to several platforms, export once at the highest resolution your plan allows and let each platform do its own compression.
- A short looping clip can be exported as a GIF, which is useful for documentation, changelogs and places that will not autoplay video.
Exporting does not consume or alter your project. The timeline stays exactly as it was, so you can export, review the file, come back, adjust and export again.
