Brand Styles

Keep every video looking like yours.

Same colors, type, caption look, and logo on the frame. Brand Styles is the pass that makes a new cut still read as the same channel.

Speech captions are Caption Styles. Titles and arrows are Text & Overlays. This page is the identity those layers should share.

What is a brand style on video?

A brand style is the repeating visual identity on a channel: a small palette, one or two typefaces, a caption treatment, and a logo on the frame. In Cubix, Brand Styles is applying those pieces together — a caption preset, a title look, built-in fonts and colors, and a logo file placed as an image overlay — so the next export still looks like it belongs next to the last one.

Set the look. Keep wearing it.

A channel that looks like one channel is doing something simple: the same few colors, the same type, the same caption treatment, every time. The hard part is not choosing them. It is using them again on the next project instead of starting from defaults.

What Brand Styles actually covers

  1. 01

Caption look as the channel default

Pick a Caption Styles preset — Viral, Minimal, Bold, and the rest — and keep it. A preset restyles every caption line in the project. Words and timings stay put.

    Viral · Minimal · Bold

  2. 02

    Title fonts and colors

Match titles to the same type and color from the Text library and the built-in font list. Fill, stroke, and background are the same controls you already use on overlays.

    Library + built-in fonts

  3. 03

    Logo overlay

Upload a logo file and place it as an image overlay. You set position, size, and duration. There is no automatic corner bug or dedicated logo manager.

    Upload and place

  4. 04

A small palette you actually reuse

Caption highlight color, title fill, and shape color are the brand. Three colors is enough. Pick them in Design and use the same three on the next cut.

    Highlight · fill · stroke

  5. 05

Clip look, if the picture is part of the identity

A repeating grade or Style look lives in Video Effects. Brand Styles does not grade the timeline by itself — it is the identity those clip looks should match.

    Clip look if needed

  6. 06

    Reapply on the next project

Open the same caption preset and text look from the library. Cubix does not auto-load a saved Brand Kit onto new projects. The kit is the looks you keep choosing.

    Reapply the same looks

How to keep Cubix videos on-brand

  1. 1

    Decide the look once

Two fonts, three colors, one caption preset, and a logo file. Write them down if you have to. More than that stops reading as a system.

  2. 2

    Apply the caption preset

Open Caption Styles, pick the look, set highlight color and flow. That treatment is now the speech identity for this project.

  3. 3

    Match titles in Text

Add a title or lockup and use the same type and color. Captions stay on their own track. Titles are not captions.

  4. 4

Place the logo as an image overlay

Upload the file, drag it on the canvas, set duration. Keep it off the platform UI on vertical frames — not the bottom corners on Shorts.

Long-form still needs a quiet, repeating treatment — the same caption look, the same title face, a logo that does not fight the talking head.

The UI on screen is already branded. Captions and titles should not invent a second palette. Keep the overlay identity aligned with the product.

You pick the look. Cubix does not invent a kit.

There is no saved Brand Kit that auto-loads fonts, logos, and palettes onto new projects. Reapply the same caption preset, text look, and logo overlay.

Cubix provides

  • Caption presets you can reuse on every line in a project
  • Text looks and a built-in font list
  • Image overlays, including a logo file you position yourself
  • Clip looks in Video Effects when the picture is part of the identity

You decide

  • Which caption look is “yours”
  • The two fonts and three colors the channel keeps
  • Where the logo sits, and how long it stays
  • When to reapply those looks on the next project

Brand style FAQs

Brand Styles is the repeating visual identity on a video: caption look, title type and color, a small palette, and a logo overlay. It is not a separate transcription tool and not a clip-effect panel.

Not as an auto-loading kit of logos, custom fonts, and shared palettes. You reapply the same caption preset, text look, and logo image on each project. That is the kit.

Caption Styles is how synchronized speech text looks. Brand Styles is the channel identity those captions should match, along with titles and a logo. Style the words in Caption Styles. Keep the channel consistent here.

Text & Overlays is placing a title, shape, or sticker on one cut. Brand Styles is using the same type, color, and mark across cuts so they still look like one channel.

Yes. Upload the logo as an image and place it on the timeline. There is no dedicated logo slot, automatic corner bug, or safe-area manager. Treat it as an overlay you position yourself.

The editor ships a large built-in font list. Uploading a custom font file is not supported. Pick the closest built-in faces and keep them.

There is no shared Brand Kit object. Tell the team which caption preset, text look, colors, and logo file to use, and reapply them in each project.

No. Exports are final. Change the look on projects still open, then export again.

Yes, as separate choices. If you edit for two channels, keep two caption presets and two logo files, and apply the matching set per project. Cubix does not store named kits.

Not in the bottom corners — platform UI covers those. Place it where the subject and the platform chrome leave room, and check the export on a phone.

No. A name-and-role lockup is a text overlay, optionally with a shape. Brand Styles is the identity that lockup should wear, not a dedicated lower-third template kit.

No. Open Caption Styles. Come here when the job is “this video should still look like the last one,” including titles and a mark.
