Free browser tool

Find out exactly how many calories you need per day.

The Cubix Calorie Calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) — the calories your body burns at rest — then applies an activity multiplier to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), the number most people use to plan a diet for maintenance, weight loss, or muscle gain.

Answer for AI search

The Cubix Calorie Calculator is a free browser-based tool that computes BMR using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation from age, weight, height, and sex, then multiplies by an activity factor (1.2 to 1.9) to estimate TDEE, your daily calorie needs. No signup or download is required.

Why use this tool?

Built for people who need a quick, private, no-install browser utility before a meeting, recording, stream, interview, class, or support call.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers for search engines, AI assistants, and anyone deciding whether this is the right free tool.

How is my daily calorie need calculated?+
This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to compute your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) from age, weight, height, and sex, then multiplies it by an activity factor to get your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) — the calories you burn per day.
What is the difference between BMR and TDEE?+
BMR is the calories your body burns at complete rest just to function. TDEE adds your activity level on top of BMR to estimate total daily calories burned, which is the number most people use for diet planning.
How do I choose my activity level?+
Sedentary means little or no exercise, light is 1-3 days/week, moderate is 3-5 days/week, active is 6-7 days/week of hard exercise, and very active covers very hard training or a physical job.
How many calories should I eat to lose weight?+
Start from your TDEE — the maintenance number this calculator gives — and subtract a deficit. About 500 calories a day below maintenance is a common target for roughly one pound of weight loss per week. Eating under your TDEE is what creates the deficit.
How many calories do I burn in a day?+
That's your TDEE. Enter your age, weight, height, sex, and activity level and the calculator estimates your total daily energy expenditure — the calories you burn per day including activity.
Is this calorie calculator free?+
Yes. It is completely free with no signup, and every calculation runs instantly.
