Turn the energy up.

Make it a Banger is the high-energy pass for an edit you already have. Cubix adds zoom punches, beat shake, flash cuts, speed ramps, transitions, drop FX, and an optional grade — and leaves your cuts and clip order where they are.

What is high-energy video editing?

High-energy video editing is a visual treatment that makes an existing cut feel more dynamic zooms, shakes, flashes, speed changes, and hard transitions without rebuilding the montage. Cubix Make it a Banger is that treatment as one workflow. Timing clips to music is a different job: that is Beat Edits.

Same cut. More punch.

The same footage, before and after Make it a Banger. The sequence does not change. The energy treatments do.

Same footage used for the Make it a Banger before and after: a high-energy treatment over an unchanged cutAfterSame sequence. Zoom, shake, flash, and ramp stacked on top.

Zoom punch

Push-in on the hit

Beat shake

Frame jolts on the beat

Flash cut

White hit on the cut

Speed ramp

Rush, then settle

Beat-synced is not the same as high-energy.

A montage can sit on the downbeat and still feel calm. A cut can feel loud with no music grid at all. Beat Edits owns timing to the track. Make it a Banger owns the energy layer on top of the edit you already made.

Beat-synced

Cuts on the music

Beat Edits rebuilds the montage so shots land on the grid. That can stay calm. Timing is the job.

Hits on the cut you have

Make it a Banger writes zooms, shakes, flashes, and ramps onto the sequence that is already there.

What Make it a Banger actually applies

  1. 01

    Leaves your cuts in place

It decorates the timeline you have. It does not recut, reorder, or throw footage away. Highlight picking is Create Clips. Beat-timed montages are Beat Edits.

    Cuts stay
  2. 02

    Zoom punches

Push-ins land on stronger moments in the cut. On after the pass. Turn Zoom punch off if you only want the other hits.

    Zoom
  3. 03

    Beat shake and flash cuts

The frame can shake on the beat, and white flashes can hit discrete cuts. Both are their own toggles, Beat shake and Flash cuts.

    Shake
  4. 04

    Speed ramps

Speed hits accelerate through strong moments, then settle. This is a treatment on existing clips, not the manual Speed Ramps curve.

    Ramp
  5. 05

    Transitions and drop FX

Transitions can sit between clips. Drop FX adds a glitch-style accent on bigger moments. Each is on by default and can be switched off.

    Drop FX
  6. 06

    Optional cinematic grade

Cinematic grade is one toggle in this pass, a finish over the energy layer. The dedicated whole-edit grade is Cinematic Look.

    Grade

Every technique lands as a normal timeline edit. Intensity starts at 65%.

How Make it a Banger works

  1. 1

Put your edit on the timeline

Use the cut you already have — one clip or many. Make it a Banger does not build the montage for you.

  2. 2

    Run Make it a Banger

Cubix reads motion, speech, and music onsets, then writes zooms, shakes, flashes, ramps, transitions, drop FX, and the optional grade onto those clips.

  3. 3

    Tune the energy

The Magic Edits card exposes Intensity plus a toggle for every technique. The editing agent can change those same published controls. Revert restores the look from before the pass.

    • “Turn the intensity down.”
    • “Turn beat shake off.”
    • “Drop the speed ramps.”
    • “Keep zooms, lose the flashes.”

Energy treatments, not a new cut.

Source edit stays in order. Zoom, shake, flash, ramp, transition, and drop FX stack on top. The grade is optional.

AI applies the hits. You set how hard they land.

Make it a Banger runs with every technique on and Intensity at 65%. After it lands, the same card lets you pull it back or strip a layer.

Intensity

How hard the whole energy layer hits. Default is 65%. Under 40% reads as light rhythm; over 75% reads as full chaos.

Intensity is a slider. Light / Default / Full is how the card itself describes the range — not three named presets.

Also on the card after it lands

  • Zoom punch
  • Beat shake
  • Flash cuts
  • Speed ramp
  • Transitions
  • Drop FX
  • Cinematic grade

Make it a Banger FAQs

It adds dynamic treatments — zooms, shakes, flashes, speed changes, hard transitions — to footage you already cut. Cubix Make it a Banger is that kind of workflow. It is not a beat-synced montage builder.

Zoom punches, beat shake, flash cuts, speed ramps, transitions, drop FX, and an optional cinematic grade. Clip order, duration, and what you said stay the same.

No. One can exist without the other. A calm montage can still cut on the beat. A loud energy pass can sit on cuts that were never timed to music.

Beat Edits rebuilds your clips into a montage timed to the music. Make it a Banger leaves that sequence alone and writes energy treatments onto it.

Make it a Banger is the high-energy layer across the cut. Hyper Engage places pattern interrupts — punch FX, SFX, and zooms — on key words or loud moments. Different job.

Speed Ramps is the manual curve on a clip. Video Transitions is the join you pick between two shots. Make it a Banger can apply ramps and transitions as part of one energy pass.

Yes. Intensity is a slider (default 65%). Beat shake, zoom punch, flash cuts, speed ramp, cinematic grade, transitions, and drop FX are separate toggles. The editing agent can change those published controls. Revert puts the previous look back.

No. It does not add, remove, reorder, or retime clips. Create Clips picks moments. Beat Edits rebuilds a montage.

Edits that already have a sequence: Reels, hype cuts, launches, action recaps, YouTube openers. A talking-head that needs tighter pacing is Maximum Retention. A camera-facing first cut is Creator Polish.
