Hyper Engage · Pattern-interrupt editing

Visual hits on the lines that carry it.

Hyper Engage adds pattern interrupts to the cut you already have: punch FX, SFX stingers, deadpan zooms, warp-on-cuts, and meme text on existing titles. Hits land on key words, loud moments, or both. It does not recut the video, and it does not promise more engagement.

What is pattern-interrupt video editing?

Pattern-interrupt editing places short visual and sound changes — a punch-in, a flash, a stinger — on specific moments so the picture does not sit still. Cubix Hyper Engage is that layer on an existing cut. It is designed to add visual variety. It is not a guarantee that viewers will watch longer or tap more.

Same cut. More visual variety.

The same sequence, with hits placed on the lines or loud moments that can carry an interrupt. The order of the clips does not change.

Pattern interrupts

  1. 1Punch time from a key word or a loud hit
  2. 2Flash · glitch · shake on that time — not the whole clip
  3. 3Deadpan zoom and an SFX stinger on the same moment
  4. 4Warp on the join. Cut order stays put.

Interrupts on punchlines, not a high-energy wash.

Make it a Banger is the energy treatment across the cut. Hyper Engage fires flash, glitch, shake, zooms, and stingers on discrete punch moments. Maximum Retention tightens pacing. Different jobs.

What Hyper Engage actually applies

  1. 01

Lands on key words, loud hits, or both

Land on is Key words, Loud, or Both. Default follows the Punchy style: key words, with loud spikes as fallback. It does not recut to those moments.

    Land on
  2. 02

    Punch FX on each hit

Flash, glitch, and shake fire on punch times — not wall-to-wall. Level is Low, Medium, or MAX. Punchy starts at Medium.

    Punch FX
  3. 03

    Deadpan zooms

Punch-ins snap in on those same moments. Strength is Subtle, Medium, or Unhinged. Punchy starts at Medium.

    Zooms
  4. 04

    SFX stingers

Short library stingers land on the punches. Volume is a slider. They sit as audio clips you can still remove.

    SFX
  5. 05

    Warp on cuts

A liquid warp at clip joins: Whirl, Ripple, or Morph. Default Whirl on Punchy and Brainrot. Off on Pro.

    Warp
  6. 06

Meme text on titles you already have

If text is already on the timeline, Hyper Engage can restyle it as Classic, Comic, or Gamer. It does not generate new reaction clips or write new captions from the transcript.

    Meme text

Nothing here recuts the timeline. Style presets are Pro, Punchy, and Brainrot — Punchy is the default.

How Hyper Engage works

  1. 1

Put a cut on the timeline

Short-form vertical reads best. Longer clips can still run, with fewer punches across the runtime.

  2. 2

    Run Hyper Engage

Cubix finds punch moments, then layers Punch FX, zooms, SFX, warp-on-cuts, and meme text on existing titles.

  3. 3

    Tune the interrupts

Change Style, Land on, Punch FX, deadpan zooms, SFX, meme text, and warp. Revert restores the starting timeline. The editing agent can run the pass; those rows live on the card.

Hits on the moment, not a new sequence.

AI places the hits. You pick the density.

Hyper Engage runs Punchy by default. After it lands, the same card exposes Style, Land on, and every stage.

Style

Density and which stages start on. Default is Punchy.

Land on

Where punches are placed. Punchy defaults to Key words.

Punch FX

Flash, glitch, and shake on each punch. Punchy starts at Medium.

Pro is sparse hits. Punchy is flash, glitch, shake, and SFX on each punch. Brainrot is the densest pack.

Hyper Engage FAQs

A workflow that adds pattern interrupts to an existing cut: punch FX, deadpan zooms, SFX stingers, warp-on-cuts, and meme styling on text you already placed.

It does not promise that. It is designed to add visual variety on punch moments. Watch time, CTR, and algorithm performance are not something this pass measures or guarantees.

Hyper Engage does not burn in an opening hook overlay. That lives on Maximum Retention. Here, “hits” are punch times from key words or loudness.

No. SFX are library stingers. Meme text restyles titles already on the timeline. It does not generate reaction clips or new faces.

No. Clip order and duration stay put. Tightening pauses and tangents is Maximum Retention.

Make it a Banger is a high-energy layer across the cut — zooms, shakes, flashes, ramps, transitions. Hyper Engage fires interrupts on discrete punch moments, with style presets Pro, Punchy, and Brainrot.

Yes. Style, Land on, Punch FX, deadpan zooms, SFX, meme text, and warp-on-cuts are on the Magic Edits card. Revert restores the starting timeline.

Short vertical cuts with clear punchlines or loud hits: Reels, commentary, comedy. Long landscape takes can still run, with fewer punches.

Placement comes from your words or loudness, not a fixed metronome. Style and stage toggles change the character further. Two videos still get different punch maps.
